hospital The State's Psychiatric Security Review Board on riday found that Peterson was a danger to the public and should remain at Whit ing orensic Institute in Middle town said Martha Lewis the executive director Two years ago the five member board placed Peterson at Connect icut Valley Hospital in Middle town where he had been a patient on and off for nearly 20 years Peterson walked off the hospital grounds on July 28 1989 and made his way to downtown Mid dletown jjere he bought a knife and fatally stabbed Jessica Short of Wallingford during a sidewalk sale The state on May 31 committed
