I get to do some cool stuff in this job. This is up there with the coolest of the stuff. UK Innovate at the University of Kentucky, along with our Founding Members announced below, have launched an alliance and trademark certification license program to advance a whole new category in spirits - Estate Whiskey - including through research and education focused on local ingredient sourcing and sustainability in spirits production. Metrics don’t represent all of the impact we create - we know that - but they sure do signal that we are onto something important and the impact is happening.
