Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday!!
Other than my birthday... but I guess that's not really considered a holiday.
What's not to love about Thanksgiving?!
It's all of my favorite things:
1. SO MUCH delicious food ALL. DAY. LONG. (and leftovers of the delicious food for days to come!)
2. Family and friends
3. Expressing GRATITUDE!
We always go around the table and say what we are grateful for, and every year I am overcome with so much emotion (aka I cry... A LOT. Tears of joy though... that seem to get more voluminous each year...)
I am just so unbelievably FULL of appreciation for this amazing life!!!
No, things aren't always perfect.
They aren't perfect a lot of the time actually. And life can be SO challenging.
But when it comes down to it, I am so beyond grateful for every single experience and person that comes into my life. Good and bad. Happy and sad.
Because life is such an incredible journey. And we are all here to learn and live it TOGETHER!!
On that note, I am SOOOOOO THANKFUL for each and every one of you.
You inspire me every day to continue this blog and pursue my passion of spreading my message that health and wellness can be easy, fun, and DELICIOUS.
We're in this together, friends.
I love you all ❤️

Holy moly these were so good! We were so hesitant because we used to be big hotdog fans before going vegan and we were worried they'd disappoint. They did not!!! My husband threw them on the grill for warming, So yummy and a new staple for BBQ nights at our place!
Seasonal vegetables like squash, beets, and mushrooms are key to making vegan-friendly dishes that are festive for Thanksgiving. Add quinoa, nuts, and beans (like chickpeas or lentils) to create satisfying entrées that everyone at the table will want to try.
Yes.Garlic and onion are plants so they are vegan. There might be some vegans who might not eat onion and garlic, but this is most likely due to personal likes and dislikes. Additionally it also might be due to some religious beliefs and practices which we will discuss later in the article.
Christian vegetarians and vegans often appeal to the ethic that Jesus embodied, and called people to emulate, in making their case for a distinctively Christian vegetarianism. To begin with, Jesus inaugurated the Kingdom of God, but his Kingdom didn't involve the exercise of power as humans tend to think of it.
Stuffing the turkey with gluten-containing bread will contaminate the turkey itself making it unsafe to eat if you are celiac or have a gluten disorder. Instead, make your stuffing using gluten-free bread or in a separate dish to ensure no cross-contamination occurs.
Fruits and vegetables are naturally gluten-free—so have plenty on hand for snacking. Rice, wild rice, corn and quinoa are gluten-free foods. Price Chopper does sell several different brands of gluten-free pasta. Meat, fish and chicken are also gluten-free, but some cold cuts do contain wheat starch as binders.
