The NFL draft is completed, and after a strong showing at the rookie minicamp, Philadelphia has a stacked roster with 88 players. However, there’s room to add another quality contributor or under-the-radar starter.
The Eagles have few holes or open spots on offense, but a still unsigned free agent could potentially pull a Zach Cunningham or Jadeveon Clowney, resurrecting their careers on one-year deals signed later in the spring or summer.
With OTAs and the mandatory minicamp fast approaching, we’re looking at ten unsigned free agents who could bring value or production to the Eagles roster.
CB Stephon Gilmore

Gilmore had 68 tackles, 13 passes defended, and two interceptions for the Cowboys last season.
Gilmore allowed four passing touchdowns and allowed a 60.3 passer rating when targeted. Even at 33 years of age, Gilmore would give Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean another quality veteran to learn from.
WR Tyler Boyd

You can never have enough quality pass catchers and Boyd has logged 125 passes for 1,429 yards and seven touchdowns in a third wide receiver role behind two elite players.
OL Connor Williams

Still only 26 years old, Wiliams is recovering from a torn ACL, and is a former second-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2018 and signed on with the Miami Dolphins back in 2022.
Edge Rusher Michael Danna

You can never have enough pressure off the edge, and Danna is coming off a 2023 regular season where he logged 6.5 sacks, 50 tackles, and 13 quarterback hits.
OL Dalton Risner

At just 28 years old with 73 starts under his belt, Risner remains a solid option for teams looking for a solid interior lineman. He allowed 30 pressures in 745 snaps in one year with the Vikings. He played the first four years of his career in Denver.
EDGE Yannick Ngakoue

In 13 games last season, Ngakoue registered 22 tackles (13 solo) and four sacks for Chicago.
WR Hunter Renfrow

Renfrow caught 103 passes for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021, his third NFL season, but he had only 585 yards in 27 games the past two seasons after signing a two-year, $32.33 million extension.

Safety Justin Simmons

The most obvious choice, Simmons, is still unsigned due to contract demands. Still, he’d give Philadelphia a formidable trio at safety, with C.J. Gardner-Johnson able to slide down into the slot and Reed Blankenship having deep safety versatility.
DL Calais Campbell

Campbell started all 17 games for the Falcons, logging 6.5 sacks last season. A veteran leader who can still make an impact despite his age, Campbell has 105.5 career sacks.
Safety Quandre Diggs

Diggs has started every game for Seattle the past four seasons, is a three-time Pro Bowler, and has produced over 90 tackles in two of the last three seasons.
Safety Micah Hyde

Hyde started 14 games for Buffalo in 2023 and still can be an impactful player.
Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon

Witherspoon started all 17 regular-season games with the Rams last season. When targeted, he allowed a 48% competition percentage.
DE Jerry Hughes

He played in all 17 games for the Texans during the regular season, recording three sacks on 42 percent of the defensive snaps.

CB Adoree' Jackson

Jackson has durability concerns but is a solid cover guy who could offer depth.
